Huge Women x International Women’s Day 2022
Extraordinary women push against discrimination, stereotypes, and bias every day. Collectively we can all #BreakTheBias #IWD2022
In celebration of International Women’s Day 2022, the Huge Women Affinity Group put together a social media campaign to contribute to the generations-long conversation of imagining a gender equal world—a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
To echo this year’s International Women’s Day theme, Break the Bias, the campaign was designed to promote diversity, inclusion, and accessibility while connecting to the Huge Women community through a sense of togetherness and camaraderie, and the inclusion of relatable Huge symbols: the 5 year anniversary commemorative axe, inspiring sticker collections, custom tote bags, and creative technology.

The campaign was shared across all platforms including the Huge internal Slack channels, Instagram post and stories, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Each post linked out to a curated list of accessible and educational resources, divided by office regions.
A global, company-wide newsletter was also shared, describing this year’s theme and encouraging all employees to engage in #BreakTheBias conversations through articles and publications, Huge-hosted online events and panels, and social media engagement.
As an added layer of personalization, we created a series of frames for all Huge Women Ambassadors and any employee who wished to use them on their Slack profile pictures for the remainder of Women’s History Month.
